Within the framework of the 9th Vietnam-Laos-China Three-Country Ball Throwing Festival in 2025, Phieng Loi Village (Dien Bien Phu Ward, Dien Bien Province) has been selected as the venue for sports competitions, cultural exchanges, and traditional costume performances.
From December 19-21, 2025, visitors and locals will be able to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of traditional sports, cultural performances showcasing the unique cultural identity of ethnic groups in the border region, and a dazzling and unique costume show of the Vietnamese, Lao, and Chinese ethnic communities.
Organizing these activities in Phieng Loi Village contributes to promoting the image of community tourism in Dien Bien Phu Ward, while strengthening solidarity, friendship, and cultural exchange between localities in the border area.
