In preparation for the first Dien Bien Phu Ward Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee conducted a draw to divide the competition into groups and simultaneously implemented preparations for the event. The festival is expected to have the participation of 8 delegations, with over 300 athletes representing residential areas, agencies, units, and forces within the ward, contributing to ensuring fairness, objectivity, and creating a vibrant atmosphere leading up to the ward's sports festival.

Along with the draw, the Organizing Committee has urgently reviewed and prepared facilities, fields, and equipment for the competitions, ensuring safety, compliance with regulations, and suitability for each sport. It is expected that the main competitions of the Festival will be held in Phieng Loi village, facilitating organization and management and attracting a large number of people to watch and cheer.

To date, preparations for the 1st Dien Bien Phu Ward Sports Festival are being carried out seriously and on schedule, demonstrating the locality's readiness to organize a safe, practical, and effective festival. Through this festival, Dien Bien Phu Ward will continue to promote the sports training movement, contributing to improving the health and spiritual life of the people in the area.
