On December 27, 2025, Dien Bien Phu Ward will solemnly hold the Opening Ceremony of the First Dien Bien Phu Ward Sports Festival. The ceremony will take place at 7:30 AM at the Phieng Loi Village Cultural House, Dien Bien Phu Ward, with the participation of representatives from the Dien Bien Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the Ward Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; political and social organizations; representatives from agencies, units, armed forces, businesses; leaders of residential groups and villages; and participating athletes. The First Dien Bien Phu Ward Sports Festival is an important event aimed at promoting physical training and sports, improving people's health, and contributing to building a healthy cultural life in the community.
